The Newton Fest committee is currently accepting registration for those wanting to participate as a non-food vendor during Saturday, June 10, 2017.
From area businesses to non-profits wanting to share information about their organization to individuals wanting to sell crafts, home-based businesses (Tupperware, Avon, etc.) Newton Fest is a great opportunity to showcase your business or organization. For non-profit organizations wanting to participate and will not be selling items or accepting funds, the fee is waived with proof of non-profit status. Questions? Would your business or organization like to be a part of Newton Fest? The Newton Fest committee is currently accepting registration for those wanting to operate a food/concession stand during Saturday, June 10, 2017. The event which draws thousands of people is a great opportunity to showcase your delicious delicacies from your restaurant or for non-profits to raise some extra money. Please note we do our best to ensure a variety of foods are available and so vendors are accepted on a first come basis. Check out full details on the vendor application form.

Newton Fest is excited to once again host a Bill Riley Talent Search during Newton Fest. The talent search is at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 8 at Maytag Bowl (301 S 11th Ave W; Newton, Iowa 50208). The outdoor show will serve as a qualifying show for the Iowa State Fair competition.

Open to all Jasper County residents, this fun event will feature teams of four competing in wellness games involving brain games, food facts, heart health and muscle strength.

Cool Cars CAR ShowGearheads, Hot Rods and Brody Burners... scratch out your calendars on Saturday, June 10 from 10 a.m. -4 p.m. for this year's Cool Cars Show, an eclectic event during Newton Fest. The show moves to the DMACC Newton Campus parking lots at North 2nd Ave West. First arrive, first park! Register now by calling the Newton Chamber office at 641-792-5545. Oh, yeah... NO entry fee.

The Birds and the bees 5kThe Birds and the Bees 5K is a fundraiser for the Newton Arboretum. Registration starts at 7:15 a.m. and the race begins at 8:00 a.m. Prizes will be given out for the top male and female runner, as well as the top runner in each age category. Pollinator costumers are encouraged!

Newton Junk FestWant to be a part of Iowa's newest Junkin' Show? Simply download the registration form and return it to the Newton Fest committee and we will save a spot for you.
Junk Fest will feature vendors from the Midwest bring their antiques, repurposed, and vintage goods to Newton. The event will be from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, June 9 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, June 10, in downtown Newton. Contact [email protected] to register! |
Backyard BBQ ContestNewton Main Street, Moo's BBQ and the Iowa Barbecue Society are sponsoring a Backyard BBQ Competition for the second year! The contest is scheduled for Saturday, June 10 and costs $30.00 per team. Registration deadline is June 2. You'll find the team registration information below as well as rules, regualtions and prizes.
